About Me
Career Journey:
Marie graduated from Otago University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Accounting and commenced her working life in Wellington with Inland Revenue as an Investigator remaining for a 10-year period before returning back to Dunedin to be closer to family. She joined JW Smeaton in 2009 and has worked on various types of clients while at the firm.

Marie is passionate about providing a high-quality service for clients and enjoys the contact with them. She has worked with clients in many industries and is involved in particular with preparing financial statements for the agricultural industry.
Fun Fact:
In Marie’s spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and keeping up with literature and crafting projects.
